A Master’s Thesis Discusses (Revealing Facts and Explaining the Subtleties of Imam Al-Nasafi)

College of Islamic Sciences at Al- Iraqia University discussed a master’s thesis tagged “Revealing Facts and Explaining the Minutes of the Interpretation of Word of God, the Mighty” by Imam Burhan al-Din al-Nasafi (d. 687 AH).

The thesis presented by the postgraduate student Haneen Omar Abdullah aimed to highlight the scientific value of this manuscript of interpretation, and to try to produce the book in a way that is compatible with the method of scientific research, and to stand on the scientific personality of Al-Nasfy’s proof and the value of its interpretation. The thesis included the weightings of the proof of al-Nasfi, description of the written copies, and an investigation into the interpretation of the words of God, as well as his life, name, nickname, citizenship, scientific status, and the scholars’ praise of him.

A committee was formed to discuss the thesis, which was supervised by Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shaker Al-Kubaisi, headed by Prof. Dr. Hindi Obeid, and the membership of each of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Karim and Prof. Dr. Abol Fotouh Abdel Qader Shaker.
