College of Engineering Holds a Workshop Entitled “Learn How to Learn”

Under the auspices of the  Rector of Al- Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein, and supervision of Dean of College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mowaffaq Shyaa’ Alwan… Scientific Affairs Division of the College  / Al-Iraqia University held a workshop entitled “Learn How to Learn” presented by Google’s student team at the University in presence of dean of the college and a number of gentlemen of the faculty and students of departments of network engineering and computer engineering in the college.

The workshop dealt with identifying a range of technical topics and methods of acquiring new skills through interactive workshops and specialized training courses in a way that qualifies for integration into the labor market, in addition to a broad view of academic curriculum in Network Engineering and Computer Engineering Departments.

The workshop aims to transfer the experiences and expertise of fourth-grade students during their academic journey to first-stage students and guide them to develop their skills in a way that is compatible with the requirements of the technological labor market.

The respected Dean of the College praised the efforts made by Google’s student Club at Al- Iraqia University and the importance of transferring experiences and knowledge communication to new students, and expressed the College’s support for all initiatives aimed at developing students in a way that qualifies them to compete in the labor market.
