College of Islamic Sciences Conducts a Test for all Participants in (Bismill Quranic Competition)

Department of Hadith and its Sciences at College of Islamic Sciences at Al- Iraqia University conducted a test for departments’ students participating in fourth Bismill Quranic competition for memorizing Surat Al-Nahl.

The competition, which was organized under the auspices of Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shaker Al-Kubaisi, aimed to train students to perpetually recite and stimulate the skill of memorizing and linking Al-Ayat and abandoning it. Morals are not upright, blessings are not attained, and the heart is not reassured except by Qur’an, based on the words of the Prophet:” I left among you Two things you will not go astray as long as you adhere to them: Book of God Quran and Sunnah of His Prophet.

The competition included extracting ten benefits from (Interpretation of Tayseer Al-Karim Al-Rahman), and urging students to understand Holy Qur’an, reflect on it, persevere in memorizing it, and work with its Law , to build generations fortified with knowledge, as well as promote concepts of scientific excellence and creativity.
