A scientific Workshop on: “Impact of Novel in Addressing Issues of Contemporary Iraqi Society.”

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Muhammad Shakir Abdullah Al-Kubaisi, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Department of Arabic Language held a scientific workshop entitled “Impact of Novel in Addressing the Issues of Contemporary Iraqi Society.” In the hall of the central library.

The workshop, which was held under the auspices of the Dean Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shakir al-Kubaisi, and Secretary-General of the Library and the lecturer in the department, Dr. Bushra Khalid Muhammad, lectured, aimed at defining the reality in Iraqi novel, and how to present social, historical and political issues, and novel’s treatment of these issues.

The workshop urged the students to read Iraqi and international novels for two things, for the benefit of knowledge and to know the crises of each society.
