Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit Holds a Workshop Entitled: Development and Self-Development

Under the patronage of Dean of College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hussein Dakhil Al-Bahadli, Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit in the College of Arts, Al-Iraqia University, held a workshop entitled “Development and Self-Development” on Tuesday 12/13/2022.

The workshop, which was moderated by the Head of Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, Assistant Dr. Nibras Turki Hadi, with the active participation of the lecturers, Assistant Dr. Baida Haider Ali, Assistant Lecturer Hoda Ali Haidar and Assistant Lecturer Safa Issam Jassim on what the self is and what is meant by self-development.

We outlined one of the definitions as a way to evaluate the skills, attributes and talents of the individuals and to improve themselves in a conscious manner in various aspects of life, and to seek in a conscious manner to achieve personal growth for the individual by improving skills, competencies and personal knowledge and emphasizing how to achieve self-development by knowing the individual’s self-worth and recognition on the talents and skills inherent in himself.

The workshop included stability and self-enhancement for students, creative thinking skills for university students, and the role of education in development and entering the labor market.
