Scientific Lecture on :Digital Education and its Importance for University Students

College of Media at Al- Iraqia University organized a scientific lecture on digital education and its importance for university students, participated by Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Muhammad Ahmed Mikhlif, and a number of college professors and students.

The scientific lecture included an explanation on concept of digital education, its development, , starting points and objectives, as well as how to decode messages Media and the importance of integrating digital education into educational programs and parallel school activities.

The lecture was presented by Head of Journalism Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Gamal Abdel Namous, and moderated by Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Hani Ahmed Younis, aimed at indicating the importance of devoting sound information culture among students, enhancing their thinking skills, and teaching them how to deal with the media, including social media as platforms for dialogue and information exchange, so that they can identify correct information from rumors.
