Rector of the University Receives the Delegation of Union of Arab Academics and Technicians

Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, received a delegation from the founding body of Union of Arab Academics and Technicians, in his office at Colleges Complex in Adhamiya.

The Rector welcomed the members of  Commission, represented by its Assistant General Secretary-, Prof. Dr. Mortada Jabbar Al-Nouri, and the members, Prof. Dr. Khalil Muhammad Shehab, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ghantusi, the two parties discussed ways of cooperation between Al- Iraqia University and the Academic Union. During the meeting, the readiness of the presidency of the University to support the union were indicated, as it represents a new constituent nucleus, contributes to Iraq’s participation in Arab and international forums, as well as the readiness of Union of Arab Academics and Technicians to serve a wide segment of the Iraqi academic elite.

For their part members of the Union appreciated the efforts of presidency of Al- Iraqia University and its role in the willingness of the University to support the Union, and authentic and sublime values that University transmits and strengthen the bonds of society.
