College of Dentistry Organizes a Workshop on (Gum Surgery and its Diseases)

Scientific Affairs Unit organized a workshop entitled “Modern Methods in Periodontal Surgery and Periodontal Diseases” at Baghdad Hall, in presence of Dean of the College and a number of faculty and students.

The workshop presented by Dr. Alaa Omran included the definition of modern methods in periodontal surgery and diseases in terms of the correct diagnosis of gum diseases according to the global classification of global health organizations and how to link diagnosis with the treatment plan and new treatment methods that include the use of laser in gum surgery and its importance and benefits as well as the use of (animal heads) to train Students in general, particularly fifth stage students and prepare them properly and scientifically to keep abreast of modern global developments in the field of specialization.
