A master’s Thesis Discusses :Image of Women in Instagram Advertisements

A master’s thesis was discussed in the field of public relations at College of Media/ Public Communication at Al- Iraqia University, about the image of women in Instagram advertisements and its relationship to psychological motives of the public, an analytical field study of beauty centers, by: Asia Ismail Omran Jassim.

The Thesis aims to find out the influence extent of the image of women in motivating the psychological motives of the public through advertising through social networking sites and pushing them to perform plastic surgery or use cosmetics, fashion and styles, or hair and skin care. The thesis showed that elegance, beauty and preserving the spirit of youth are among the most important values reflected in the image of women and the most important tendencies and persuasive tendencies in advertising, in addition to that language, colors, distinctive performance, sound effects, women’s dress, gestures, and the media used in advertising have an impact on attracting the audience.
