Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, delivered a welcoming speech on the occasion of enrollment of first-stage students in (10) Faculties of the University.

Peace, mercy and blessings of God

I am pleased and honored to welcome you with the beginning of your new academic year, which is your first step in university life, in which we look forward to more fruitful and serious work to achieve the goals for which your fellow students gathered in the other stages of our great university.

As you go to your seats tomorrow in various scientific and human specializations, I am addressing the spirit of responsibility in you as the backbone of university work and the target of educational process, and the primary beneficiary of the success of our efforts, and I invite you to show morals that are commensurate with your scientific and knowledge level as university students, and to Set your sights on distinction and excellence, and set a good example for generations.

I would also like to convey the keenness of Al- Iraqia University represented by its professors and staff and administrators who work day and night to develop your curricula and strive to improve its scientific outputs in accordance with the scientific quality standards followed in international universities.

In conclusion, I ask Almighty God to preserve our country and to bless it with security and stability. He is capable of everything and is worthy of an answer.
