College of Arts, Holds an Online Workshop Entitled Extortion Crimes and Their Impact on Community Security

Under the auspices of Dean of College of Arts, Prof. Dr. (Hussein Dakhil Al-Bahadili), College of Arts, in cooperation with  Women’s Empowerment Unit / Rector of Al- Iraqia University, held an electronic workshop entitled (Extortion Crimes and their Impact on Community Security), in which both M. Dr. Faten Saad, a lecturer at Department of History, and a Low professor, Ahmed Mahmoud, Ministry of Interior.

The workshop, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Huda Fadel Hussein, Women’s Affairs Officer at College of Arts, lectured, aimed to shed light on the crimes of electronic extortion and its effects on societal security, as it prays young men and women, no one is spared from it.

The workshop included the most prominent solutions and proposals for this problem through community awareness campaigns, taking precaution and caution in using social media and its various applications, and intensifying efforts to confront this dangerous social phenomenon in case of extortion, as well as holding seminars, workshops and lectures for community members for social and psychological education and the most important role of family control.
