Al-Iraqia Media Faculty Organizes a Scientific Workshop on (Global Platforms)

Under the auspices of Rector of Al- Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Jubouri, and supervision of Dean of College of Media, Prof. Dr. Ethar Tariq Al-Obaidi, Quality Assurance and University Performance Division organized a scientific workshop entitled (Scientific Platforms), in the presence of Dean of the College as well as professors and staff of the college/at Al-Hikmah hall at the college campus.

The workshop, which was delivered by the Director of Department of Quality and Performance Assurance at the University, Assistant Professor Dr. Farqad Talib Najim, included the definition of educational platforms and their importance, important factors in the publishing strategy and the registration mechanism in scientific platforms such as Google Scholar, Research gate, ARID.

The workshop aims to urge the college teachers to increase scientific balance through publishing in international journals, and to introduce them to solid journals that have an impact factor and how to publish in them, in addition to examining the name of journal and the ISSN standard number.

For his part, the Dean of College, Prof. Dr. Ethar Tariq Al-Obeidi, appreciated the distinguished efforts of the lecturers for the scientific highlights, which added qualitative value to the concepts of quality assurance and academic accreditation, being the marketing gateway for sober scientific research.
