News Coverage on Websites of Iraqi Satellite Channels for the 2021 Parliamentary Elections

A master’s thesis was discussed in Radio and Television Journalism Department at College of Media /Al- Iraqia University, about news coverage on the websites of Iraqi satellite channels for the 2021 parliamentary elections, by student Nour Karim Yasser Al-Salihi.

The message included many topics, most notably definition of the concept of news coverage and its types, sources and forms, news values and their importance in websites, the concept of websites and their types and features, television and new media, parliamentary elections on the websites of Iraqi satellite channels. The letter recommended inviting the websites of satellite channels to pay attention to various forms of art in presenting political topics that the public pays attention to, such as infographics, motion graphics, and video graphics, as well as short film material for sharing.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Yousry Khaled Ibrahim, Chairman and Prof. Dr. Hossam Mubarak Khalaf as a member and Asst. Pro. Dr. Ghazwan Jabbar Muhammad as an external member and Asst. Pro. Dr. Alaa Najah Nouri, member and supervisor.
