Minister of Higher Education Holds a Meeting with Administrative Body of Student Club (Al-Talaba)

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, held a meeting with the temporary administrative body of (Student Club) and urged investing in the positive results of football team and setting a comprehensive road map for development and rehabilitation of sports infrastructure of the elegant club.

The attendees reviewed the appropriate administrative, legal and logistical preparations for holding permanent administrative body elections in light of the contexts and mechanisms set forth in the Sports Clubs Law No. 18 of 1986.

Minister of Education directed the formulation of a strategic plan for Student Club (Al-Talaba) that extends to horizon of the coming years to be a starting line towards development, overcoming challenges, promoting and attracting creative sports resources, activating the international dimension and effective partnerships in all sports activities.

His Excellence discussed with members of commission the requirements for rehabilitating club’s sports infrastructure, especially with regard to the students’ stadium and provision of financial requirements imposed by the institutional work tracks for prestigious sports clubs.

Minister of Education listened also to a briefing from president of temporary administrative body of the club, Dr. Ali Hamid Al Shukri, and its members regarding the results achieved by the football team and positive indicators observed in the administration, overcoming the challenges in front of the players to enable the team achieving important positions in Iraqi league competitions.
