University Council Holds its Fifth Session for Academic Year 2021/2022

Al- Iraqia University Council held its fifth session for Academic year 2021-2022 headed by Rector of the University, Prof.  Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, on Wednesday 2/3/2022, in presence of all council members, and discussing the topics on agenda.

The council discussed many items on the agenda and took decisions in this regard, including creation of departments for postgraduate studies in the university’s faculties, and the change of scientific background of postgraduate studies for some faculties.

The meeting also included approving the service extension for a number of university teachers, and approving a second extension for a group of graduate students or postponing their studies.

The council discussed a number of scientific promotions for professorship rank, as well as discussing many scientific, administrative and technical items that would advance our university.

The Council hosted Mrs. Dean of College of Dentistry, Prof. Donia Wadih Sabaa, expressing thanks and gratitude for her tireless efforts in developing the college during her previous assignment, wishing her continued health,  and success.
