Campaign of Voluntary Blood Donation

Al- Iraqia University organized a voluntary blood donation campaign, participated by a number of teachers and employees of the university formations.

Assistant Lecturer Falah Taher Rahima, Director of Media and Public Relations Department at the University, confirmed that the campaign, which was held in cooperation with Blood Bank in Medical City, aims to spread and culture of volunteer work and social responsibility by developing feelings and awareness of the importance of donating blood to save the lives of others. Adding that the campaign witnessed a great and remarkable turnout by faculty and administration who were keen to present and donate to such volunteer activity in order to achieve the university’s mission and vision aimed at serving the local community, indicating that this is not the first campaign organized by the university and will not be the last and that the university offers all Its unlimited support for the dear homeland and its people.
