Ministry of Youth and Sports hosts Al-Iraqia University

Rector of Al- Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri ,headed a delegation with Assistant President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. Hassan Fadhala Al-Tamimi to visit the headquarters of Ministry of Youth and Sports on Wednesday 2/9/2020.

The university’s delegation was received by His Excellency Minister of Sports and Youth, Mr. Adnan Darjal, during which they discussed the need to pay attention to activate university sports in all its activities as one of the main tributaries to support clubs and teams with talented youth energies, and to emphasize interest in university student activities such as sports, art, poetry and literature, as great influence on Crystallizing the personality of the young Iraqi and refining his talents.

Dr. Ali Al-Jubouri emphasized  on the need to contain students within the community, develop their skills and put them in the right direction, stressing the role of universities in adopting student initiatives and activities of various forms and paying attention to university youth in making Iraq future as a true leaders project.

His Excellency added, ” Ministry of Youth and Sports is determined to open channels of communication and cooperation with all universities to review sports infrastructure of all universities in general and Al- Iraqia University in particular.”
