Participation of a lecturer from the College of Education in a conference at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad

Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Hamad Al-Ghantosi, a lecturer in the Department of History, College of Education, Al-Iraqia University, participated in a conference held at the University of Baghdad, College of Islamic Sciences, with his research entitled “The Role of the Media in Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption in the State.”
The research focused on the role of economic and media activities in reducing the phenomenon of administrative and financial corruption in the state. It also plays a role in raising public awareness and educating them to establish an environment of integrity by incorporating other strategies that contribute to reducing this phenomenon.
The research aimed to identify the role of the media in promoting a culture of integrity, identify the most prominent challenges and obstacles facing the media in fulfilling its public awareness role, and review some of the administrative and financial corruption cases exposed by the media.
