On an official visit… The College of Medicine Dean Al-Iraqia University visits the Iraqi Academics Syndicate

Within the framework of institutional cooperation and strengthening partnerships between academic institutions, the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, visited the headquarters of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

He was received by Prof. Dr. Ali Musayer Yassin, Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, who leads the Syndicate with a strategic vision aimed at supporting academics and enhancing the educational environment in Iraqi higher education institutions.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the Syndicate and the College of Medicine, and reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the College, particularly those related to the teaching staff and ways to enhance their academic and professional capabilities.

The Head, for his part, affirmed his serious commitment and full readiness to provide the necessary support and overcome obstacles facing the College’s staff. He emphasized the importance of continuing constructive communication, strengthening union affiliation, and expanding the Syndicate’s umbrella to include all academics across all disciplines.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean of the College presented a shield of thanks and appreciation to Professor Ali Masir, expressing gratitude for his generous initiative and his continued interest in supporting the academic process and developing the reality of higher education in Iraq.
